I mentioned this before, I'm an obsessive doodler. My hand is always moving. Sometimes when I paint I don't want to think about plans or goals or composition ...I just want to play with colors and strokes, and of course lines. I've always got a canvas laying around that I can just goof around on. I can splatter, palette knife, brush away to my heart's content. Like all my doodles, all the randomness usually ends up developing into something recognizable.
These Doodle paintings are perfect for when you want to watch a movie (or in last night's case listen to Suggested Donation Podcast) while your painting.
I thought you might enjoy seeing one of my Doodle canvases. I keep painting and re-painting, in an aimless therapeutic way, but now that it is starting to look like something, I may have to "finish" it and move on to another canvas to mindlessly whack on.....
